Derek has been fortunate, on multiple occasions to have teamed up with Non-Profit Playful Learning Landscape Action Network (PLANN) in congruence with community groups, designing partners (KSS Arch. , WRT Arch. MGD Graphic Design and others to fabricate playful learning installations. Focused on providing points of engagement and discovery. Designed to evoke conversation through active play, these installations are diverse in the materials and construction methodologies.
